    This is regarding to the payments i make in regular manner..i deposited my cheque of amnt: 15500 , cheque no. 779582 on 7th of jan...which got cleared on 18th jan after which they added finance charges and late payment fee...i spoke three times for the same with long delay and the executive was so rude that he insisted me that this has hapened because of me...

    We are existing customer of hdfc bank govind nagar kanpur up branch since 2006, we felt very good experience in this branch but this time I humiliate the behaver of one of employee Mr. VINEET DIXIT is using abusing language in bank premises with me and many other customer if he behave in this way so it is impossible to continue banking in hdfc bank , so you take proper action against this person other wise we closed my all account from hdfc bank as well as post this complain to all social media sites.I have complained to B.M. of this govind nagar branch but he did not say anything to vineet dixit you called and ask him what he had done today with customers

    This is the second time am writing this mail to you guys am very disappointed with your service, i was promised that i'll definatly get a call from one of your executive but i haven;t got any response from your team .Its almost almost 12-13 days i have submitted all my documents to one executive (Bipin-9716155814) for credit card , he told me that "preeti" will going to process my application. But with this reference no- 14040512363490N1 and app no- CC18363126 i cant see any update. Is this what you do to all your costumers , i applied for credit card because its my sisters marriage i have spent all my saving for this occasion and i dont have any savings with me now and still some shopping needs to be done which is left and 2 days are left what am i suppose to do now i put faith in your company not by choosing any other bank for credit card but see this is what i get in return . please i need a urjent response from any senior over there .

    I am a HDFC Bank Credit Card Holder, after making last payment yesterday received SMS of my current outstanding balance was 11908, then i was shocked after reaching home i checked all the transcations which shows actuall outstanding payment as of today Rs 11749.95, but there is a difference amount of Rs 158.05 which was included in to my account.


    • This month i made international payment through HDFC creditcard sum of amount USD $50 and i got the confirmation SMS from HDFC bank of Rs 3003.25 dated on 01/08/2014 with out service tax.

    • This month i made sundaram foundation through HDFC creditcard sum of Rs 2610 + 2 percent service tax= 2662.25 and i got the confirmation SMS from HDFC Bank of Rs 2662.25 dated on 05/08/2014



    I Called Chennai HDFC Customer care at 10.22pm till 10.32pm and Spoke to Prabhakar regarding outstanding payment/discrepency

    • I gave the details of which was spent by me to Prabhakar, i recieve the SMS of Rs 3003.25 on 01/08/2014 to NYMGO, but as per PRABHAKAR i spent Rs 3047 on 01/08/2014 to NYMGO, if USD rate increased, my payment charge also which will be increased until i receive the statement, and yesterday regarding statement i spoke to PRABHAKAR, as per him its not their problem, its my problem, then he said i have to bear if USD value increase Rs. 70/-, untill i receive statement, then line gets disconnected.

    Then again I called Chennai HDFC customer care at 10.33pm and spoken to Saravanan till 10.40.

    • I gave the above details to Saravanan, and As per Saravanan NYMGO Merchant claimed payment on 05/08/2014 because of that there is a difference amount and rest of Rs 114.75 was service tax as per him, then again i asked Saravanan, regarding the conversation with Prabhakar, he started bluffing, saying that Merchant will take 5 to 21 days to claim their payment, end of the 21st day if USD rate was increaced to Rs 70, i have to pay the same.

At the time applying Credit card at HDFC Bank Jassur in H.P., I was convinced that if I make a transaction of minimum Rs. 10,000 through Credit Card within three months of its activation, I shall be not charged annual fee for the card. Now, I have got my Card activated on 14th October and on the same day, Membership fee of Rs. 673 has been billed to my account. Just a fraud and cheating with customers. I have lost faith in this Bank in a ​single ​day. Either the Bank Authorities or Customer Care are ignorant of the rules and bank policies. In fact, both are deceiving the innocent customers. Today, I have also registered my complaint on Customer Care on 01161606161 vide Complaint ID No. 14293012728/20.10.2014. Now, I have decided that if I do not get any resolution to my complaint within three days, I will close down My account permanently from this Bank. The matter is not for Rs. 673, but it is​ the​ faith in HDFC Bank that has been lost. I request higher Authorities of HDFC Bank to look into the matter immediately else I have to go for other way.   42. I lost the credit card and Re-applied for this, then i got the sms like "signature mismatch" then i called customer care, they asked me to contact nearest branch for this, i took the signature change form from the hdfc branch , filled the form and kept it in the credit card BOX,
    I didn't got any update for 2 weeks, so i called the customer care again
    They asked me to send the application with the pancard for signature mismatch issue.
    Then i did the same, but i didn't got any update from the bank for long time.

    Then again i called customer care, i told all the previous story, they asked me to send the application with the pancard again.

    I sent again by November 2nd week. now again i am getting the same sms like "signature mismatch" .
    Again i called customer care today , now they are telling me to change my signature in HDFC savings account from the nearest HDFC branch office.
    Almost morethan 3 months i spent on this to get back my credit card.

    everyone in the HDFC customer care is telling the different solution for same problem ("Signature Mismatch") but nothing is working .
    I am pissed off . Really bad service from HDFC customer care in india- bangalore .

    i don't beleive customer care guys anymore, please let me know , what is the solution for this as soon as possible.

    I have applied for a Credit card with HDFC Bank Ltd bearing Application reference no – 15021719688700N1.

    The same is disapproved but the reason for disapproval is not mentioned.
    My monthly salary is  42K and my cibil score 733. I maintain a healthy balance in my a/c. Also NO verification has been conducted at my residents (onwend house past 10years) address and office address..

  54. Using HDFC credit card from last 10 years and my average bill comes near about 1Lac rupees…….i always make payment on time ... my due date is 27th of the month to clear the bill. In most cases i cleared payment up to 30th of month, but never paid extra charges but in November month I made payment by cheque … and you have charged fine for this, when I talked on customer care they asked that cheque cleared late that’s why we charged financial charges …..
    But this time once again you have charged financial charges and service tax, where I cleared the bill on 29th before 12 noon through ATM. So either need to clear my fine if you want to retain the customer, otherwise I want to close transactions with you as bank has changed the policies to stop the relaxation period of 2-3 days …. You should inform me at least…..

    My card total due was INR 1,44,225.71 and last day for payment was 03-May-2015. I have made two transactions, half amount made through online banking and rest with check payment due to scattered money in different account. I dropped check in HDFC BANK PIMPLE GURAV Branch on 01-May-2015 of Rs 84000 and rest of amount on 03-May-2015 of Rs 60230.
    When I got the current month statement I have noticed some financial charges INR 3545 charged. When I asked with customer care they said they received my chaque to them on 08-May.
    If my payment due day was 03-May-2015 and if I putting my chaque on 01-May-2015 at HDFC branch Is their any possibility to charge me any interest ?

  57. i needed to open a saving account for which i applied on 27.04.2015 and my documentations were all taken and was cleared with signatures and other formalities. After 10 days i encountered that the "executive" has given me senior citizen kit which i felt a genuine mistake and this was reversed on next day. but since then, after completing the process again i was told that once your cheque gets cleared and is debited from your other bank your HDFC account will be activated on the same day and the amount of cheque will also be credited.
    On 21.05.2015, my other bank was debited with INR 20,000 and today is 23.05.2015 neither my account is activated nor any confirmation i have received when it will be done... all i am hearing from the so call executive is : i m sick, i m on leave, i m in hospital, there might be system issue.
    And the height of excuse - you might have entered wrong account number or password and nxt is even more hilarious and annoying i m checking with my other colleague and he is doing his own work on the system that's why he is not checking your account. i will revert you back once i go back to bank from hospital after 1 pm ( 23.05.2015 is saturday and everyone knows its halfway)

HDFC is the worst bank.I went to bank for some fd.They shared some stupid schemes.The concerned person told that i will get minimum 10% on the 5 year term and also you will get a confirmation call before actually making a policy.When i got the proposal document it showed only 4 % and for 10 years.And he never informed that it is on risk basis..... after reading that document and wheni got call from bank for confirmation i said them that i am not interested in policy then also they deducted the policy amount from my credit card. And there is no proper response from branch and customer care.Really Disgusting

    I here by inform you that my loan application has accepted on 20.05.15 against my loan application no 32974271. Next after verification & continuous follow up i got loan approval SMS on 03.06.15. Also your senior executive informed to me that 1 lac 5 thousand has approved & my rate of interest is 14% , EMI should pay Rs3589/- for 3 years . I want to take this amount for BT purpose due to of my existing loan running at FULLERTON INDIA of Rs.1lac 11 thousand and every moth i am paying Rs.4461/- as 4 years EMI . As per your executives advice i had submitted 8 nos cheque & fill up bank form on 15.06.15 and given declaration at your kolkata main branch on 20.06.15. yesterday evening your executive confirmed to me that today i will get the DD. But very sorry to say that when today i have called to your executive then he replied that my amount not disburse due to some reason. So now my question is why harass to customer and lose their time and patience ? how we belief HDFC bank ? As a prospective customer i am very unhappy .     I have booked a flight ticket (on 13/8/15) by using IRCTC site, during payment i have used my debit card.
    At the time of payment it was showed that 10 Rupees booking charge should be apply by the use of debit and the same is charged also, but next day (on 14/08/15) again 604.95 Rupees deducted, now i want to know if i have booked a ticket on 13/815 then how again IRCTC has deducted 604.95 rupees from my account on the date of 14/8/15 without my authorization, for that i didn't get any massage also, hence kindly request you to please look into this mater and provide your term and condition regardning such type of issue.

I have applied personal loan and submit bank statements (ICICI) and bank has address of my home town till august but I have updated bank account address to current address in September. and document submitted till august so bank address miss matched and risk alert is came and no one tell me about this, on 16-10-2015 one of your agent call me and tell me about this thing. So I go to RIP department Rajauri garden new Delhi. Loan account officer Jai kumar is behaviour is terrific he is yelling for fake documents and he says I will slap you and beat me with shoes. this kind of behaviour I never expected I have also showed him my icici internet banking account. He even didn't try to understand what I am saying just yelling and anger. I have paid 6000 as fine because of miss communication by your agent also I have mailed latest documents to Naveen.rai@hdfcbank.com and he did not submitted. and sales agent never tell me problem. And behaviour of jai kumar is very bad. I will never ever want to be customer of HDFC bank

    Few days back I want to change my card to pin based card. And I have changed my office. So they told me that first u have to change the address in your card so that three time I have dropped a letter in your Hdfc bank and still it there was no response at last I have sent It for curior and finally it had reached to you and I got message by saying that your signature in mismatch. Where the same signature have done in which is reflecting in my card then I had called to your customer care and by name shewatha one of your executive had received the call and had explain all this issue her but even she was help less. Then I told her to transfer the call to your superior she didn't do that and sad sir whom ever you speak this issue will not be solved sir you have to send a request form only apart from that we don't have any other way so finally I had wait for ten minutes. Please look in to this issue I am using this card from almost 3 years and I don't have not even single due on it . where other banks can do this online why can't Hdfc bank can't do this if no I have close this card and go other bank with new card hope you guys understand the problem and try to solve it and also please make a user friendly process.

Prakash ugale. didn't deal properly with us and didn't help us...showed much more negligence in the work.and also spoke aggressively and more arrogantly with us.we never saw this type of behaviour from any management level in this compitative field of corporate world.We didn't expect this type of behaviour from your bank.after that matter a negative message will be spread in market.We know HDFC is well reputated BANK all over India but HDFC opened their branch in our town few months ago...And we have SBI,SBH,AXIS,ICICI, IDBI,OBC,BOB , MAHARASHTRA, BOI,INDUSIND BANKS already in our town, we have so many choices but we preferred HDFC BANK thinking that we can get at least good service from them but they disappointed us and that was not the good one.     Again another day another executive called me and said that they are offering an Instant Loan for the credit card holders and also they said that if I accept that Instat Loan, then only the Card will be converted to Life Time free card. Another day my husband had some doubt and want to clarify with your executive,
    but he was go upset that each time he is getting differet answers from different executives and your customer Serivce is not satisfactory. Please check to that and advise the executive the clear policities of HDFC Bank.

    I am Getting threatening calls & mails from HDFC after loan disbursement regarding the completion of IGR process.

    There are multiple issues here:
    1) I am not informed about the IGR charges and ownership till the loan has been disbursed & first EMI has been deducted so as per banking ombudsman guidelines, with prior information no process & charges can be imposed on customer.

    2) I have the mails from HDFC Ltd where it’s stated that no other charges are involved after the loan approval since I have loan approvals from multiple banks like ICICI & HSBC
    & wanted to go with the bank having minimal charges involved.

    I have been clearly told there are no other process/charges involved & with that confirmation only I went ahead with loan disbursement from HDFC.

    Now after loan disbursement & 1st emi payment, I have been told about the IGR process.
    I am getting threatening mails now to get that process completed else 30k penalty will be applied.

    Checked with other banks have been informed that its sole responsibility of bank to complet the IGR process & not the customer.
    In order to get rid of threatening calls & mails from hdfc executive Ranjeet Shetty (Mumbai hdfc head), I paid the required amount for IGR but that was not the end of harassment.

    Now they are asking me to go to registrar office & get the loan registered with hdfc which I have no idea.

    I am facing unnecessary harassment from hdfc officials, have raised the issue to higher officials but did not get any reply since 20 days.

    Can anyone suggest the way out.

I purchased recently Electronic goods from shop using my HDFC credit card. when i try to calling customer care to convert the purchase into EMI, but they are telling the offer is not available currently on my card. If EMI option is not available during purchase why should i go for credit card, i could have been use my debit card purchase right.     2. On 9 may 16 i have given request to close all my emi on above mentioned card
    3. ur representive said u wil have to make payment of rs.22,335 in next 4 working days.
    4. in between mean time i made a payment to card of rs.5000 (five thousand only) on 10 may 16
    5. for further making payment i made phone call to customer care on 13 may 16, then mr. navneet and mr. ankit soni told to makle payment of rs.40,335
    i repeatedly said to please verify the same as i was given information of only payment of rs.22,335
    but he said u have to make full payment rs.40,335.
    this has caused me wrong information and breach in wrong information and services by HDFC BANK.
    so as the BANKING OMBUDSMAN SCHEME 2006 THIER IS BREACH IN SERVICE AND IT HAS CAUSED ME MENTAL AGONY AND HAERRESHMENT.
    SO I DEMAND A COMPENSATION OF RS.1,00,000=00 (rs.one lakh only) for all my trouble physical, my litigation charges,mental troubles and misguiding a genuine custmer.
    i also pray to kindly take strict actions mr ankit sony and navneet for giving false information.
    I also pray whatever charges are levied on my card till date should be reversed for providing wrong information during the course before litigations, dduring litigations and after litigantions if any.
    6. A client whos job is to save eyes and life u have wasted his time, so a demand of total compensation of rs.one lakh is standable and genuine and shall be granted
    the detailed physical copy will also to be intimated for the Bank Ombudsman Scheme 2006 in due time as specified by the Scheme and complaint will be served further.

    This is Sunil Kumar, Existing customer for two wheeler loan, we have bought a bike on dated 08-02-2008 (Bajaj Discover Black) vide this transaction we get a sanctioned loan with sum of Rs- 23,500/- from HDFC Bank Ltd. And all E.M.I has been paid all EMI in every terms of respected dues of same but on the dated of 23-06-2009 bike had theft in Gurgaon Haryana State, at the spot moment we have make F.I.R at there near Police station of “Shitla Mata Mandir” Gurgaon. And we have all sufficient documents for proving the same. After that we had also informed to Insurance company for recovery & claim of our fund. But as per communication of insurance company, claim value has been already process to HDFC bank because bike is valid with HP hence according to insurance company norms Sunil Kumar is not able to claim the recovery of insurance. Because Sunil Kumar is valuable guy due to HP on bike registration certificate.

    After all that we had get harassed by your workings and statutory norms though we stopped to paid pending EMIs of HDFC bank. Because of said reason and its valid for me. and now HDFC bank was made to me as a defaulter person after checking of CIBIL report. Is this working practice of bankers.
    If yes, and I have make shame on HDFC bank for his working style.
    As a being human we are totally failed to stop the rating of CIBIL because its controlled by Bankers and other same communities’ reporting’s. Again I have request to HDFC bank please re check all dues working of same loan for me and validate your values.

  121. i have a savings bank account with HDFC opera house branch, i have a query regarding my trading account, i have been told to contact on tel 39019400, I tried this number many a times in last two days at various intervals from my office as well as residence but all the time I did conncted with this number but after that the "recording" starts, 'ALL OUR EXCEUTIVES ARE BUSY'...   123. Hi,

    The loan started 2 years back in august, and i opted for ECS services for the same, however as i left my previous organization, the account for which ECS was to be applied got changed into reimbursement account and the ECS checks from your side started bouncing. For 3 or 4 months your executives called up and told me that the bouncing charges will be waved off and i can submit cash to the executive visiting me at my home, with telling no details on the process to change the ECS account.

    When i came to know about the process and visited the loan department in sec-14 Gurgaon and applied for a ECS account change, they didn't approved it telling me to deposit the bouncing charges amount first(I still have the receipt of the ECS account change application with me). This was ridiculously unprofessional for this bank's executives to have these two different statements of waving off the charges and telling me to pay the charges. I did also wrote emails for the same through netbanking for which i didn't get any reply leaving me more frustrated.

    Now, my loan finishes next month and the bank has kept hold of a amount of rs 17,500 from my account. This is cheating the customer every way possible.

    My question is : you can have a look at the payment history of loan EMI payments and let me know if any of your payment was delayed.? If i can pay all your payments on time in cash, would i be not able to do that from ECS.?

    Now, i will request you guys to refund me my money in the account which you have kept on hold or else i will love to close all my accounts and accounts that my family members hold with your bank at the earliest visiting your branch.

    I will also have to reach out to consumer court for a case of Cheating and Frod in case this is not looked upon and resolved at the earliest.

    This is just disgusting for a bank with this Status, cheating the customer and leaving him in frustration with no balance in his account without even giving any prior information.

  126. I never used HDFC bank credit card. I just took it as the agent forced to take as it is free. Suddenly i was getting few calls after a month got a mail stating i have to pay some bill. I never asked for anything but now its showing 2000 Rs in my ciebel score. I want that to be removed.
    If I have authorized for any payment please give me the proof for it and i'll pay the next moment.

    If I get proof i'm ready to pay twice the money which they have updated.

  134. Most arrogant and non cooperative people in the HDFC bank. They just do not bother for the clients. If you go for FDs or Loans they will put a red carpet for you. But if you go for any regular work, their behaviour is very arrogant and non cooperative. The toll free no is just wastage of time. You can’t talk to anybody for complaints. Suggestion: Try with IDBI Bank. My experience with IDBI bank is the best for customer support, service is very fast, people are very cooperative,personal touch with the clients, people are polite.

  142. I received a call from hdfc bank jaipur credit card department 2 months ago, as she told her name Ankita from hdfc bank or some recovery agency Siddhi vinayak, her cellphone number is +919116050302.
    She was following me for due payment of my credit card.
    One day she called and said me that i have taken approval regarding my case stating that i can pay my due amount in easy installments,and bank have added extra charges on my credit card, so that extra charges will be waived off on my card and i have to pay only 50000 rupees full and final payment of my credit card that too in six or more easy installments.
    She said but you have to pay minimum due amount of INR 3110 then only this approval will be considered, and she said after this minimum due payment i will receive a email too from bank regarding my case of easy emi and charges waive off.
    Thus i paid min due of 3110 rupees to bank for my credit card no. 4893772501456285, after my payment completion she never responded me, i tried to call her several times but she never took my call and even blocked my cell number. I have all the recordings.

  143. Hi, Seems no one is serious about handling complaints.

    I don’t have any relation with HDFC bank. In spite I am receiving emails from HDFC for past few years disclosing other customers personal particulars bank details, credit card information, bank statements etc.

    I kept complaining this several times and just receive only acknowledgements asking for full particulars of account number and credit card number. I replied several times that I do not have any account or credit card with HDFC.

    Seems no one in HDFC uses their brain and still asking for account number and credit card number.
